John started out at the age of 16 as the  lead singer and rhythm guitarist with a traditional rock and roll band. John drifted into folk bands and country rock bands, then took up playing bass, mainly because his first band didn't have a bass guitarist. He then Played for many years in England, at a semi professional and professional level, doing tours, festivals and the usual clubs and pubs, providing backing vocals and managing the low end. John played mainly country rock, but also played in rock and blues bands as well. John Moved to Australia in 2002 where the music continued, focusing mainly on 50s 60s and 70s music...before returning to the UK in 2016. John was the last, but greatly welcomed member to join "Silver Streams" Where he now anchors the low end in style.
